Privacy policy

1. Who we are and how to contact us

This policy covers SignCollab’s website and application, including creator discovery, rate estimates, agreements and social-platform integrations. For questions or privacy requests, contact SignCollab at support@signcollab.com.

2. Information we process

Information you provide may include your name, email, account details, support correspondence, survey answers, creator handles and agreement details. Agreements may contain contact, business, tax or identity information that participants enter, signatures and verification records.

When you use the service, we process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, timestamps, authentication cookies, security logs and usage events. Agreement audit records may include device identifiers and email verification events.

For creator discovery and valuation, we collect and store supported public social-profile information, including usernames, names, biographies, profile images, links, follower counts, posts, captions, media links, publication dates and available engagement metrics. Sources include social platforms and data providers such as Bright Data. Public creator profiles and derived rate estimates may appear in SignCollab’s creator directory.

3. Facebook and Instagram data

If a Facebook or Instagram integration is enabled and authorized, we may process account and Page identifiers, basic profile information, permissions and access tokens needed to operate it. With supported discovery features, we may retrieve public professional-account information and recent media metrics, including followers, likes, comment counts and Reel views where available.

Private insights are accessed only where the account holder authorizes the required access and the platform permits it. Connecting an account does not authorize every type of data access. We do not ask you to give SignCollab your Facebook or Instagram password. Disconnecting an integration stops future access through that authorization; you can separately request deletion of data already held by SignCollab.

4. Why we use information

We use information to provide accounts and agreements, verify signing events, maintain audit evidence, display creator profiles, calculate rate estimates, generate analysis, respond to support requests, secure the service and understand usage. Estimates and generated analysis can be incomplete or inaccurate and are not verified earnings or guaranteed outcomes.

Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing may rely on providing a requested service, consent, legitimate interests such as security and service operation, or legal obligations. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it.

5. Sharing and service providers

We use providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, analytics, social-data collection and generated analysis. They receive information needed to perform their functions. Creator information and performance metrics used for generated analysis may be sent to the configured AI provider. Agreement information is shared with the relevant participants as part of the signing workflow.

Public directory information is visible to website visitors. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims. SignCollab does not sell user data. Meta-platform data remains subject to the applicable platform restrictions.

6. Cookies and analytics

Cookies and similar storage support authentication, session operation and security. The website also includes Google Analytics to measure website usage; it may process device, browser and interaction information using cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser and use Google’s available analytics controls. Blocking essential storage may prevent some features from working.

7. Storage, retention and security

We retain information for the purposes described here, including operating accounts, keeping creator snapshots and maintaining agreement evidence, and review it when deletion is requested. A fresh-data cache does not set the retention period for stored historical snapshots. Contract and audit records may need to be retained for legal obligations or disputes.

We use access controls and other technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information outside your country. Where required, appropriate safeguards must apply to those transfers.

8. Your choices and deletion requests

You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information, or removal of a creator listing. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a portable copy or complain to a privacy regulator. These requests are available to account holders and people whose public creator information appears in SignCollab.

Follow our data deletion instructions. We may verify your identity or authority before acting. Some records may be retained where legally required; we will explain applicable exceptions. Revoking platform access alone does not delete previously stored information or delete your Facebook or Instagram account.

9. Children and policy updates

The service is intended for adults. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate. We may update this policy as the service changes and will show the updated date on this page.
